At Young Athlete Development (YAD), our specialized team of physical preparation coaches helps youth athletes grow stronger, faster, and more resilient. With credentials in motor development, rehabilitation, strength, power, speed, and injury prevention, we’re dedicated to unlocking every athlete’s potential—no matter their age, level, or stage.

OUR development programs

We are committed to delivering the best service possible to future generations of youth athletes, no matter their level or stage. Every youth athlete deserves quality coaching and development and we are committed to this process.

We offer several different programs, from speed development, to the basics of motor skill acquisition to more advanced strength & power development. Our programs divided into age and gender appropriate cohorts, have clear and measurable learning outcomes, embedded evaluations and report cards.

We host our programs at our Langley (LEC) Location.

And we can also come to your team, your club or your association and deliver our programs.

We are located at the Langley Events Center. Unit 265-7888 200th street. However, to access our space, you must enter through the back doors (up the stairs at Gate 4). See the video for instructions!

COMPREHENSIVE TEAM TRAINING

Our YAD Coaches do travel to teams or clubs to offer on-field or on-court etc tailored curriculum with our unique, portable equipment and athletic development methods.

In our team / club sessions, we can deliver the following types of programs: Game Speed, Combative Strength & Conditioning and our Trailblazers Physical Literacy Foundations program. We also offer testing services.
